<p>The distributed generation is here to stay. With more and more houses putting up roof top solar and coming up with other options of power generation as time rolls by, the grid is slowly becoming a back up system for power whenever there is an issue with the generating equipment. A study by Accenture, shows that bosses of utilities across 25 countries were interviewed. Similarly, consumers were also met. </p><p>The result was that 15% of the consumers could go away from the grid by the time we hit 2036 or may be earlier!
