OPEN ACCESS CHARGES FY23-24 I Utility Change Order – Effective EWA date

<figure class="table"><table><tbody><tr><td><p>OPEN ACCESS CHARGES – FY23-24?</p><p>CE/ Grid Operation, SLDC issued a circular Lr.No.OA Charges/D 219/2022-23, dt 21.03.2023* that the existing OA charges will be in force until further instructions.</p><p>There is no revision of OA Charges from April 1 , 2023. TANGEDCO has filed a petition regarding the additional surcharges to TNERC for which the hearing is scheduled on 28 Mar 2023. After the hearing, additional surcharges for third party consumers will be known.</p><p>* Lr.No.OA Charges/D 219/2022-23, dt 21.03.2023</p><p>?</p><p>Utility Change Order – Effective EWA date</p><p>A new clause has been introduced in the Utility Change Orders after?<br>Feb' 2023. Order snippet:</p><p>" As per the order issued vide reference cited above, the revised agreement has to be signed with Superintending Engineer generating end EDC mentioning that the agreement shall take effect from 1st of the succeeding month to avoid billing issues."</p><p>To avoid billing issues, all EWAs will be signed on the 1st date of the succeeding month. Hence, we request both the generators and consumers to plan an utility change accordingly to ensure there are no lapsing of units.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></figure>
